A free dental checkup and awareness camp was today conducted by Indian Dental Association (IDA) in association with Plaksha foundation, under the presidentship of Dr Umang Jamwal, at SOS Village, Gole Gujral , Talab Tillo, Jammu.
A total of 86 students and 25 staff members were examined during the camp. Dr Kunal Vuthoo was incharge for this awareness camp. Free toothpaste samples were distributed amongst the students
Dr Himja Mengi, vice-president of the association, gave a demonstration of proper brusing technique to the attendees.
Dental Surgeons present during the camp included Dr Ayush Sharma , Dr Arshiya Goswami , Dr Anshu Gupta, Dr Pankaj Bhagat.
SOS village incharge, Kamala Kanta Tripathy, appreciated IDA Jammu for successfully conducting the dental checkup and making the students aware about maintaining a good oral health.
