Two Pakistani nationals were among three inmates who escaped from the juvenile home in the border town of RS Pura after injuring two policemen on duty today.
A red alert was sounded to track down the escaped youngsters among whom one is a local of RS Pura.
They are reported to have escaped at around 5 PM after attacking Head Constable Parveen Kumar and Vinay Kumar who were on duty at the juvenile home.
The escaped Pakistani nationals have been identified as Ahsan Anwar and Mohammad Sanaullah—along with a local Karanjit Singh Gugga.
Security forces have launched a massive search operation in the area.
