4 teachers terminated by J&K for remaining absent from duty for years

Taking strict action against the erring teachers in Kashmir division who remain absent from their prescribed duties for years, Jammu and Kashmir government has terminated the services of four such teachers.

The Directorate of School Education, Kashmir has stated in its notification terminating the teachers that these remained absent for several years and did not reply to the notices of the departments after which it was decided to dismiss them from government job.

Those who have been terminated include:

Alka Tak, teacher in MS Moran Tangwari in Baramulla district who was absent since 25 September, 2015 from her duties.

Rubeena Kakroo, teacher on probation in Baramulla district and absent from her duties since 1 October, 2011.

Waseem Gull, teacher in Nunner of Ganderbal district and absent from duty since 3 March, 2014.

Ajay Bhat, teacher in Dalwach of Anantnag district and absent from 4 March, 2019.
