4G mobile internet demanded by Sarpanches in parts of Ladakh

The Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, R K Mathur was called upon by various delegations at Raj Niwas today.

Ghulam Medhi Ashoor, EC (Minority/Forest), LAHDC, Leh called upon the Lt. Governor to discuss pending issues of Turtuk region and requested to consider sanctioning of project for Turtuk-Hanu road connectivity, preservation and promotion of rich Balti culture and traditional art and artifacts, upgradation of existing PHC, etc.

Mohd Ali Chandan, EC (Health/Agriculture), LAHDC, Kargil called upon the Lt. Governor seeking his intervention in making Shargole a ‘Carbon Neutral Block’, consider opening of a skill development training centre in handloom for the unemployed youth and local artisans of Shargol block, renovation/ reconstruction of hot spring in Mulbek and also discussed issues related to health department of Kargil. 

Phunchok Angchok, Sarpanch Tia and Sonam Angchok, Sarpanch Tingmesgam in a representation to the Lt. Governor made a request to pursue early installation of Airtel mobile tower with 4G connection in the area.

The Lt. Governor heard their issues and said that the issues shall be examined for appropriate decisions.
