The Reasi Police has booked 5 lodge owners in Katra for defying administration’s order of installing CCTV cameras at their premises.
In compliance to District Magistrate Reasi order regarding installation of CCTV Cameras at Hotels/Lodges, Medical Shops etc. Reasi Police conducted a surprise checking at Katra town.
During inspection of Hotels & Lodges at Katra, 05 Lodges were found without CCTV cameras. In this regard five FIRโs No. 192/24 U/S 223 BNS,193/24 U/S 223 BNS, 194/24 U/S 223 BNS 195/24 U/S 223 BNS & 196/24 U/S 223 BNS registered at P/S Katra, against the lodge owners for non- compliance of notification issued by District Magistrate Reasi.
District Magistrate Reasi in his order directed that CCTV cameras must be installed in all Hotels/Lodge, Medical Shops etc. The whole operation is led by SHO P/S Katra.
