A few political leaders in detention were released days before the all party meeting on Jammu and Kashmir with Prime Minister Narendra Modi which was held on Thursday. Was this the step towards removing “Dil ki duri aur dilli ki doori” as said by the PM in the meeting?
As per reports, stories related to detention were shared by many participants. Getting emotional Sajjad Lone said that do they need to die to prove their faithfulness towards the nation? He remembered the days he had spent in detention and shared the story with PM. Lone told that the Haryana police inspector at those times gave him company when he was lonely in those bitter days of detention.
Lone was detained under the Public Safety Act in August 2019 and was released a year later.
