The ongoing controversy after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput has opened a can of worms for the Bollywood. As the investigation goes deeper and deeper many secrets have started to come out.
As the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has taken the case into its hands, questions have been raised about the drug connection with the Industry. Many big names of male and female actors have come out from the Bollywood after Rhea Chakrobarty was arrested by the NCB. Names of some top female actors associated with the drugs and drug mafia have also come out.
On Tuesday Samajwadi party member and Legendary Bollywood actress, Jaya Bachchan Spoke in Rajya Sabha that because of two or three people the whole Bollywood cannot be blamed.
She said that Bollywood has produced many great actors and people who are famous in this industry are calling it a “gutter”. Jaya Bachchan said this after Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) MP and famous Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan said that many of youngsters from Bollywood have been into drugs and all the drugs are being exported in the country from neighboring countries that wants to destroy our youth.
After Jaya Bachchan’s speech, she received much support from the Bollywood while some people opposed her took it to twitter to where we saw #ShameOnJayaBachan trending.
After Jaya Bachchan’s Speech in Rajya sabha, the Maharashtra government has increased the security near the Bungalow of Jaya Bachchan as some people may be angry with her. The Maharashtra government has given Z+ security to Jaya Bachchan and her family. Also, BJP MP and veteran actress Hema Malini has backed Jaya Bachchan.
While talking to NDTV She said that the Bollywood knows what is right and what is wrong. The name, fame and respect I have received is because of this Industry.
Jaya Bachchan’s security has also been criticized by many because the Maharashtra government had questioned the union government when Kangna Ranaut was given Y plus security.
Shiv Sena has accused the BJP government of supporting Kangna Ranaut. Many members of Bollywood like Sonam Kapoor, Richa Chadha, and Farhan Akhtar have also supported Jaya Bachchan.
Taking a dig at Jaya Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut also tweeted in Hindi. She said that she had her own path in the industry. She criticized Jaya Bachchan in her tweet.
Earlier she has called the industry as Gutter and accused most of the people associated with Bollywood have been exposed to drugs.
Kangana Ranaut has been mired in controversy since the death of Sushant Singh Rajput’s after she accused Bollywood of nepotism and favoritism.
She had even targeted the Maharashtra government for not investigating the case properly. Maharashtra government had recently demolished Kangna’s Mumbai office saying that it was built illegally. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut had even used foul statements against Kangana Ranaut to which BJP said that Shiv Sena should know where to fight and where to keep calm.
Maharashtra BJP party president wrote on Twitter in Marathi that Shiv Sena is doing politics and questioned as to who started Kangna’s topic? He said that if the Mumbai police have done their investigation properly then there was no need for Central Agencies to step in. He added that the central government has done their job without politics.
Former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis also wrote on Twitter that the Shiv Sena led government should understand that the fight is with Coronavirus, not the opposition or Kangana Ranaut.
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut has traveled back to her hometown in Himachal Pradesh. Kangna tweeted after she left Mumbai that she stands on whatever she said and even compared Mumbai to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. She also said that she is not in a condition that she can repair her Mumbai office. She said “this time my office has been demolished but time will come when the Maharashtra government will have to apologize”.
After Rhea Chakarborthy was arrested By NCB in connection with the drug case, central agency was trying to find out other actors involved in the nexus. Two Mumbai officers have also been investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation.
The NCB is likely to take the statement from late Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister and brother-in-law. On the other hand, Sushant Singh Rajput’s farmhouse manager Raees said that he has seen the actor’s friend and Rhea’s brother Showik with rolling paper.
And he also said that Sara Ali Khan used to come to the farmhouse quite often. He said that the actress started coming to the farmhouse from November 2018 during the shoot of their film Kedarnath and she continued till January 2019.
