As 989 Police Sub Inspector trainees and 62 DSP probationers undergo the intense and rigorous counter terror training at White Knight Corps Battle School, Bhalra, Lt Gen Navin Sachdeva, General Officer Commanding White Knight Corps and Maj Gen Upkar Chander, GOC Delta Force visited the elite training facility.
The Corps Commander reviewed the training and interacted with the trainees. After witnessing the live firing Demo and counter terror drills learnt by the trainee police officers at the battle school, he lauded the commitment and exuberance shown by the trainees and instructors both.
He exhorted them to continue striving hard for professional excellence. He appreciated the White Knight Corps Battle School, Bhalra for their professionalism, dedication & efforts in putting together a tailor made training program for the police trainees. He also mentioned that he was sanguine that the training will result in enhanced jointness between the two elite organisations through sharing and understanding each others strengths, ethos, culture, values and best practices. He extended his best wishes to the trainees and staff of the battle school for all their future endeavours.
He said that this joint training initiative not only underscores the enduring partnership between the Dhruva Command and White Knight Corps with the Jammu & Kashmir police but also reflects their shared long term vision of a secure and prosperous Jammu & Kashmir. He also commended Mr R R Swain, DGP Jammu & Kashmir Police for his leadership & foresight in taking the initiative of joint training of police at the Elite White Knight Corps Battle School.
The initiative of J & K Police to get the newly inducted DySPs and PSIs trained in Counter Insurgency/ Counter Terrorist Operations at White Knight Corps Batlle School is hallmark of synergy and increasing jointness between two organisations.
