All political parties demanded immediate assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir when they met the visiting Election Commission of India team in Srinagar on Thursday.
After arrival in Srinagar the ECI held meetings with the national and regional political parties.
The Chief Election Commission (CEC) Rajiv Kumar along with members are visiting the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for a two-day visit.
They also met with the top security officials from Jammu and Kashmir police and paramilitary forces.
