A probe has been ordered against National Conference MLA Hilal Akbar Lone for not standing during the National Anthem at Omar Abdullah’s swearing in ceremony.
The controversy erupted just a day after Omar Abdullah was sworn in as the first Chief Minister of J&K UT.
Sources in the security establishment said that Lone was seen sitting while all in the hall were standing during the national anthem. “A probe has been ordered and CCTV footages are being collected as a proof that Lone didn’t stand up during the national anthem,” sources said.
