Multiple IAS and IPS officers transferred outside J&K and brought in. Know details

In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has issued transfer and posting orders for IAS and IPS officers of the AGMUT cadre, resulting in the relocation of more than 15 officers from Jammu and Kashmir to various Union Territories across the country. The decision, which has been made with immediate effect, also includes the appointment of new officers to the region.

As per the order No. 15041/05/2023-UTS.I dated 16 May 2025, the following major transfers have taken place from and to the Jammu and Kashmir cadre:

IAS Officers Transferred Out of Jammu & Kashmir:

1. Pandurang K Pole (2004) – Transferred to Delhi

2. Vijay Kumar Bidhuri (2005) – Transferred to Delhi

3. Sanjiv M Gadkar (2013) – Posted to Goa

4. Yetindra M Maralkar (2013) – Transferred to Goa

5. Shakeel Ul Rehman Rather (2013) – Shifted to Goa

6. Pardeep Kumar (2013) – Sent to Chandigarh

7. Rahul Sharma (2013) – Transferred to Ladakh

8. Choudhary Mohammad Yasin (2015) – Moved to Puducherry

9. Shrikant Balasaheb Suse (2016) – Shifted to Jammu & Kashmir

10. Santosh G Sukhadeve (2017) – Sent to Goa

11. Rakesh Kumar (2021) – Transferred to Ladakh
