Noted Dogri writer Prof Lalit Mangotra, who has been working for the promotion and development of Dogri language, and literature for the last 50 years, was honoured with the Padma Shri on Tuesday.
The President of India Droupadi Murmu presented the award to Prof Mangotra. He received the award under the field of Literature and Education.
His wife and daughter were present during the award ceremony.
