Train services have been hit and the Jammu-Pathankot highway was also damaged due to a cloudburst type situation in the Kathua district where the rail track got submerged on Sunday morning.
Houses were submerged in waters of heavy rain since early morning at Ghati and Janglote.
Police said that Kathua’s police station and several other buildings were submerged.
The Ujh and Sahar khad were flowing above the danger mark, reports said.
