Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for highlighting the keen interest the boys and girls of J&K have for all sports.
Omar Abdullah was reacting to today’s ‘Mann ki Baat’ of PM Modi during which he “applauded my sisters and brothers of Jammu and Kashmir for celebrating sports, notably the Khelo India Water Sports Festival! Also spoke to Rashmita Sahoo and Mohsin Ali, who took part in the tournament”.
Thanking the PM, Omar wrote on X; “The youth of J&K don’t lack for talent or enthusiasm, unfortunately they lack opportunity & exposure. Your mention of their sporting prowess will certainly add to their enthusiasm. I hope corporate India will also play its part by using their CSR funds to help develop sports infrastructure in J&K”.
