Indian Railways starts two trains from Delhi to Katra for pilgrim rush

In view of the additional rush of passengers, the Railways has operated two unreserved special trains between Delhi Junction and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra.

Train No. 04479 — Delhi Junction–Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Unreserved Special Train will depart from Delhi Junction on November 3, 2025 at 4:55 pm.

Train No. 04481 — Delhi Junction–Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Unreserved Special Train will depart from Delhi Junction on November 4, 2025 at 4:55 pm.

Both trains will stop en route at Bhodwal Majri, Panipat Junction, Ambala Cantt, Sanehwal, Ludhiana Junction, Phagwara Junction, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Kathua, Hiranagar, Samba, and Jammu Tawi.

This decision by the Railways has been taken for the convenience of pilgrims and travelers going to visit Mata Vaishno Devi.

Passengers are requested to check train timings on the Indian Railways website, dial 139, or NTES before starting their journey.
