The government of United Kingdom has asked all its citizens to avoid travelling to Kashmir in wake of the recent bomb blast in New Delhi.
In an advisory the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office has advised the citizens against travelling to Kashmir Valley and other parts of the UT.
“FCDO advises against all travel to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir (including Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Sonamarg, the city of Srinagar and the Jammu-Srinagar national highway), except for travel by air to and from the city of Jammu and travel within city of Jammu” the UK government said.
The advisory further stated “FCDO advises against all travel within 10 km of the India-Pakistan border. The Wagah-Attari border crossing is closed”.
