Military hospital signs MoU with ASCOMS for wartime medical support

In a strategic step towards enhancing the nation’s combat medical readiness, the Commandant of 166 Military Hospital and the Principal Director of Acharya Shri Chander Medical College & Hospital, Jammu, have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Furthermore, blood transfusion facilities, ambulances and dedicated surgical teams will be on standby, ensuring rapid medical response to combat injuries. In addition to these basic life-saving measures, the MoU also includes specialized medical care such as dialysis and angiography support, ensuring the highest standard of care under challenging conditions.

Super-specialist support is a key feature of this partnership, with experts in cardiology, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, urology and reconstructive surgery available to provide advanced treatments as needed.
