Helicopter service extends lifeline to Ladakh’s Sumoor, Digger villages

In a bid to provide connectivity in the snowbound Nubra regions of Ladakh, a B3 helicopter of Pawan Hans successfully landed in the remote Sumoor and Digger villages.

Officials said that the helicopter landed at the helipads of Sumoor and Digger villages, marking an important step in strengthening connectivity and public service delivery in the region.

The helicopter was received  by Tehsildar Sumoor, Tashi Jorgais.

The visit was organized to facilitate essential public services and improve accessibility for the local population, particularly in remote and difficult to reach areas.
