Two Congress leaders suspended on charges of anti-party activities in J&K

The Congress on Thursday suspended two senior AICC members from J&K, Mohd. Anwar Bhat and Bashir Ahmad Khan, from the primary membership of the party with immediate effect.

A press release stated that their suspension has been ordered on account of their anti-party activities in J&K.

Their suspension has been approved by the Congress president, the press release said.

It is pertinent to note that the Congress high command had recently constituted a 3-member committee to probe the complaints of anti-party activities by certain leaders in J&K.
