“Fraudster” detained under PSA in Anantnag

Continuing its efforts to maintain peace and public order and to curb activities of habitual offenders, Anantnag Police has booked an alleged notorious fraudster under the provisions of the Public Safety Act (PSA).

Pursuant to the PSA warrant issued by the District Magistrate, Anantnag, against the detenue Tasaduq Hussain Dar son of Ab. Gani Dar resident of Sadoora Anantnag, the said detenue was apprehended by Anantnag Police. Following the prescribed legal formalities, the detenue has been lodged in District Jail, Bhaderwah, under the PSA, police said.

Police reiterated its commitment to taking stringent legal action against individuals involved in activities that disturb public order and cause harm to the general public.
