Actor Yami Gautam summoned by ED for violation of FEMA

Really life is unpredictable! A few days after the marriage which took the internet by storm, Bollywood actor Yami Gautam has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Mumbai for alleged violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).

Yami has been asked to appear before the agency on July 7. Officials said that Yami received Rs.1.5 crore in her private bank account, which she didn’t disclose. This is for the second time that the actress has been summoned by the ED. The second summon was issued by the Mumbai unit today.

Yami Gautam got married to film director Aditya Dhar last month in a private ceremony.

Talking about the work, Yami recently began shooting for the social comedy film ‘Dasvi’ produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.  She has worked in movies like ‘Bala’, ‘Badlapur’, ‘Sanam Re’, ‘Kaabil’ and ‘Uri’: The Surgical Strike and won millions of hearts with her performance. She made her debut in the Bollywood with movie ‘Vicky Donor’ co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana.
