Additional 3AC coach attached to Rajdhani Express to meet festival rush

In view of the continuously increasing extra rush of rail passengers and the upcoming festive season, Northern Railway, Jammu Division has taken an important decision for the convenience of passengers. Keeping in view the demand of passengers, a temporary augmentation of one additional Third AC (3AC) coach is being done in Train No. 12425/12426 New Delhi – Jammu Tawi – New Delhi Rajdhani Express.

After this temporary augmentation, this train will operate with 22 coaches instead of its scheduled load.

The schedule of temporary augmentation has been fixed as follows:-

Train No. 12425 New Delhi – Jammu Tawi Rajdhani Express will depart from New Delhi with an additional Third AC coach on dates 19,20,25,30 September and 1st October 2026.

Similarly, on its return journey, Train No. 12426 Jammu Tawi – New Delhi Rajdhani Express will operate with an additional Third AC coach from Jammu Tawi on dates 20, 21, 26 September and 1st and 2nd October 2026.

This decision will provide great relief especially to the passengers on the waiting list and will increase their chances of getting a confirmed berth. Northern Railway, Jammu Division appeals to the passengers to avail the benefit of this additional facility.
