After recent terror attacks, LG chairs high level meeting in Jammu

Jammu:- The Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today convened a high-level security meeting in Jammu to assess the security situation across the Union Territory, following a spate of recent terrorist attacks.

Top security officials, including District Superintendents of Police (SSPs), Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs), Inspectors General (IGPs), Additional Directors General (ADGs), and the Director General of Police (DGP) participated in meeting.

The review comes in response to a surge in terrorist activities, with terrorists launching attacks in areas previously deemed free of their presence. The development has raised concerns about the re-emergence of terrorist elements in the J&K.The meeting underscores the administration’s focus on ensuring security and addressing the evolving challenges in counter-terrorism efforts.
