Actress Alia Bhatt took her fans by surprise as she announced her pregnancy on Instagram. She shared a photo with her husband Ranbir Kapoor in the hospital, confirming that they are expecting their first child soon. The photo has gone viral and has received over 7 million likes and one lakh comments on the platform.
Ranbir and Alia have been in a relationship for more than four years. The couple tied the knot in April this year in a private and intimate wedding ceremony at Ranbir’s house in Mumbai.
Recently, actor Ranbir Kapoor has also spoken about his marriage with Alia. He said that it has been a very big and great year for him as he got married. Marriage has been one of the most beautiful thing that has ever happened in his life. Referring to his famous dialogue in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani movie, he said that he used to say that getting married is like having “daal chawal” for the rest of your life. One should have keema pav, tangdi kebab, hakka noodles, etc also in their lives. One can’t have the same thing for fifty years; other flavours are also needed in life.
He said that after his marriage, having daal chawal is the best experience of his life. His life with his wife Alia is the best. His life has dal chawal with tadka, pickle and onions, it has everything. Ranbir added that he couldn’t have asked for a better life partner. Alia and Ranbir can be seen in their upcoming film Brahmastra, which is set to release in September this year. Alia will also appear in Darlings and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani.
