Actress Alia Bhatt has revealed in one of her recent Instagram stories that she has tested positive for COVID-19. She shared a statement late night on Thursday informing people that she has been infected by the novel coronavirus.
The 28-year-old actress has isolated herself and will be under home quarantine. She is following all safety protocols as advised by her doctors. Alia has also thanked her concerned fans writing that she is grateful for their love and support. She is shooting Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi in Mumbai.
Sanjay Bhansali had earlier tested positive for the coronavirus in early March. He recovered in a couple of weeks. Ranbir Kapoor had also been found COVID-19 positive last month.
Many celebrities including R Madhavan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Rohit Saraf, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Manoj Bajpayee and Ranvir Shorey have been tested COVID-19 positive.
