Aspirants of Class IV posts wait endlessly as JKSSB fails to declare result even after 2 months

It has been over two months but the Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) has not been able to declare the result of class IV posts exams which were held in February end this year.

Even as Lt Governor of J&K Manoj Sinha had called for providing employment opportunities to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, the JKSSB was having a laid back attitude.

Several candidates contacted JK Newsline and told their ordeal about the endless wait and failure of JKSSB to declare the result for exams held on February 27, 28 and March 1.

At least 3.3 Lakh candidates who appeared in the class IV posts exam are waiting for the results since the culmination of examination.

A Class IV candidate told, “Its been around 80 days and there isn’t any clue of declaration of the results. Exams for Kashmiri migrants were conducted much later but their recruitment is almost on final stage” he said.

He said, “Why is JKSSB playing with the future of aspirants. They must declare the result now as Lt Governor Manoj Sinha has always talked about the pro-youth policies. It seems the bureaucracy of J&K is creating hurdles for Sinha’s policies towards youth and delaying recruitment”.
