BJP preparing itself to fight Jammu and Kashmir assembly polls

In an indication that assembly polls might take place soon in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP workers are all set and ready for upcoming elections. It has been instructed to J&K unit by high authorities to prepare for elections in Union Territory.

J&K unit president Ravinder Raina is taking a tour of assembly segments of Jammu. District committees have been instructed to make the panels of potential candidates for the assembly constituencies in their districts, reportedly.

Raina has asked the party workers from Kishtwar to get fully prepared for assembly polls. Raina, while addressing the Sammelan have asked the party workers that they should work hard and gear themselves up for more targeted work so as to achieve the desired results in the upcoming Assembly polls.

As per reports, BJP leadership is quite confident of winning maximum seats from Jammu province as BJP leadership is aware about the position of Congress which is going from bad to worse so it is high time to go for polls to take advantage of the favourable political conditions. In the 2014 assembly elections BJP had created history by winning 25 seats from Jammu province and now the party is hopeful to get more seats.
