BJP MP Gautam Gambhir gets death threats from ISIS Kashmir, police starts investigation

Former cricketer and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Delhi has reached the Delhi Police and lodged a complaint alleging that he and his family has received death threats from ISIS Kashmir.

Police officer Shweta Chauhan said that Gautam Gambhir has received death threats from ISIS Kashmir through e-mail and security arrangement has been beefed up outside his residence.

Investigation has been initiated regarding the same.

“We have received an Email from ISIS-Kashmir on the official ID of MP Gautam Gambhir on November 23 at 9.32 p.m.,” read the complaint filed by Gambhir`s PS.
