Candidates asked to indicate order of preference for various posts by JKSSB

The Health and Medical Education Department, J&K had forwarded the indent for making recruitment to the 1444 posts.

J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB) vide advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2021 dated 26-03-2021, issued advertisement for 2311 Divisional/District cadre posts relating to various departments for which JKSSB conducted Computer Based Written Test (CBT) examination for 1202 posts of Health and Medical Education Department.

JKSSB vide Notice no SSB/COE/02/2021/5666-73 dated 17-08-2021, notified procedure for compilation of examination scores for multi session/slot papers (Normalization procedure based on PERCENTILE SCORE).

JKSSB notified result/ score sheet based on the performance of candidates in the Computer Based Written Test (CBT) examination held from 17.08.2021 to 25.08.2021, for different posts of Health and Medical Education Department.

The JKSSB later notified domain wise list of candidates falling in the consideration zone on the basis of final score/merit in the CBT Examination. Subsequently, candidates falling under consideration zone were called for Counselling-cum Document verification.

“In order to fill up all the advertised vacancies, all such candidates who are figuring in the consideration for various posts of Health and Medical Education Department, are hereby informed to indicate order of preference for various posts / items through the link provided on the official website of the Board www.jkssb.nic.in” a circular by JKSSB stated.

Candidates, who fail to indicate preference fully or partially, will be deemed to have agreed to any allocation of Cadres, in respect of such candidates, as shall be made by the JKSSB.
