Railways has announced a 3 percent discount for passengers booking unreserved tickets through the “Rail One” mobile app in the New Year 2026. This scheme will come into effect from 14 January, 2026.

The “Rail One” app was launched on 1 July, 2025 by the Minister for Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw. The app offers multiple facilities, including unreserved ticket booking, platform ticket booking, ordering food during travel, train running status, grievance redressal, and more.

Recently, the Railway Board has introduced changes in the “Rail One” app to provide better facilities and financial benefits to passengers. Under this initiative, a 3 percent discount will be given on booking unreserved tickets through the app using all digital payment modes. This discount will be applicable on unreserved ticket bookings made through the “Rail One” app with digital payments, excluding R-Wallet. The scheme will remain valid from 14 January, 2026 to 14 July, 2026.

The objective of this initiative is to reduce congestion at unreserved ticket counters and to encourage passengers to purchase tickets through digital platforms.

Commenting on this beneficial scheme for passengers, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Uchit Singhal, said, “Providing a seamless and modern digital experience to our valued passengers is the goal of Indian Railways. The ‘Rail One’ app is an important step towards the Digital India initiative, bringing multiple facilities together on a single platform.” He further added that this scheme not only helps passengers save money but also establishes a distinct identity in the digital domain.

The post Now get 3% discount on booking unreserved tickets through ‘Rail One’ first appeared on JK Newsline.

The National Investigation Agency has made a significant breakthrough in the Red Fort area car bombing case with the arrest of a Kashmiri resident accused of plotting the deadly attack alongside the suicide bomber. The blast, which shook central Delhi on November 10, claimed 10 lives and left 32 people injured.

The arrested accused, identified as Amir Rashid Ali of Samboora, Pampore in Jammu & Kashmir, was taken into custody from Delhi after the NIA launched an intensive manhunt following its takeover of the case from Delhi Police. Investigators found that Amir had assisted alleged suicide bomber Umar Un Nabi in planning and executing the attack.

According to the investigation, Amir travelled to Delhi to help purchase the vehicle later converted into a vehicle-borne Improvised Explosive Device (IED). The car was registered in his name. Forensic analysis carried out by the NIA has confirmed that the deceased driver of the explosive-laden vehicle was Umar Un Nabi, a resident of Pulwama and an Assistant Professor in the General Medicine Department at Al Falah University in Faridabad.

In addition to Amir’s arrest, the NIA has seized another vehicle belonging to Umar Un Nabi. The agency is examining the vehicle for further evidence as part of its widening probe. So far, 73 witnesses — including several injured victims — have been examined in connection with the explosion.

The NIA continues to work in coordination with Delhi Police, J&K Police, Haryana Police, UP Police and other security agencies as it pursues multiple leads to uncover the broader conspiracy behind the attack. The investigation aims to identify all those involved in the terror plot.

The post NIA arrests Kashmir resident who is key conspirator linked to suicide bomber first appeared on JK Newsline.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today reiterated his government’s resolve to position Jammu Tawi Golf Course (JTGC), Sidhra, as a premier national destination for golfers.

He made these remarks while addressing a felicitation ceremony organized for paragliders upon the completion of their training course at JTGC.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that while tournaments are being held in Srinagar, Pahalgam and Gulmarg, Jammu’s golfing potential has not been promoted to the extent it deserves.

“Jammu’s golf course is exceptionally beautiful and of high quality. We will work harder to promote it, host more tournaments, and ensure that JTGC emerges as a national golfing destination,” he said.

He assured the people of Jammu that the government is making concerted efforts to secure the region economically and elevate its standing on the national tourism map.

“Our commitment to Jammu is unwavering. Whether it is Jammu city, its surrounding areas, or the remotest parts of Jammu province, our endeavour is to ensure not just security but prosperity. We have taken several steps already, and many more are in the pipeline,” he said.

The Chief Minister emphasized that Jammu possesses immense tourism diversity—heritage tourism, pilgrimage tourism, border tourism and adventure tourism—all of which require sustained promotion.

“There is a need to bring more people here, develop facilities further and unlock the full tourism potential of this region,” he added.

Referring to the development of the golf course, he said, “I don’t know what first inspired us to establish a golf course here—but Jammu deserves it. People here love golf as much as anywhere else, and this facility must be strengthened and promoted.”

He also appreciated the introduction of new initiatives such as the enhanced tourist bus services. “The bus inaugurated today, linked to border tourism, is a special addition. We have always maintained that Jammu’s tourism must be nurtured across all fronts,” he noted.

Earlier, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for a state-of-the-art Indoor Swimming Pool at JTGC, Sidhra—marking a major addition to sports infrastructure in the region. He also flagged off the Jammu Gedi Bus Service, an innovative transport initiative aimed at improving connectivity to major tourist destinations such as Surinsar-Mansar and Suchetgarh.

Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, Minister for Transport Satish Sharma, Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani, MLA Jammu East Yudhvir Sethi, Additional Chief Secretary to the CM Dheeraj Gupta, Director Tourism Jammu Vikas Gupta, and other senior officials were present during the event.

The Chief Minister congratulated the paragliders on completing their course and encouraged them to serve as ambassadors of Jammu’s adventure tourism potential.

The post Jammu Tawi golf course and new indoor pool set to boost tourism appeal first appeared on JK Newsline.

Kalyan Chart is a known name in the realm of Matka as it provides an insight into the winning numbers and is said to be a perfect solution for those playing the game. It is however, important to understand that playing Matka is putting one’s money into risk that can be a financial pitfall.

Kalyan Matka Chart provides a set of numbers to the players that are analysed and then the Bazi is played. It is, however, a controversial topic as many believe that the winning numbers cannot be defined by a Matka chart result and is likely to be a fluke.

There are different kind of Kalyan charts for results including Night and Day, Kalyan Charminar Chart, Kalyan Jodi Chart and others.

The name of Kalyan Matka Chart was derived from Kalyanji Bhagat who introduced the Satta in Mumbai, it was played openly on the streets of the financial hub of the country where workers would gather and place their bet on different numbers. Later, internet took over and now the Satta Matka is played online while the chart is used to analyse the numbers.

Kalyan Chart has since decades remained like a reference tool for the players who are interested in Satta Matka.

A player just needs to enter a website offering the Satta Matka game where money can be put. But, it is important to understand that Kalyan Chart Matka and any other form of betting games are illegal in India and no money should be invested into it.

It is a fact that many poor workers and labourers especially from West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and other states try to earn a fast cash due to which they are attracted towards such Satta games. However, they end up losing of whatever they have saved in years. The lust to get more and more money takes away what one has saved leading the player into depression.

As per the reports, some people have been able to register victory by using the Kalyan Chart and were able to predict the Jodi.

Kalyan Jodi Chart is the most popular form of the Matka where players have to find two numbers that will win the game. Many players believe that the numbers in Kalyan Chart have a pattern as an algorithm is working that announces the winning numbers. They feel that by cracking the algorithm of the Satta Matka, they will be able to guess the winning Jodi.

The post Kalyan Chart Matka: How winning numbers are predicted amid legal concerns first appeared on JK Newsline.

DpBoss Satta Matka is a known name in the realm of those who play the game of numbers. But do you know that the addition of the same Matka can lead you into a financial distress?

DpBoss is a known platform for the Satta Matka results that are announced today and everyday for different games on the website of the platform. The app of DpBoss is also popular among those who play the game regularly as it updates the results of different games within minutes.

Some of the Satta whose results the platform announce include Kalyan Matka, Main Bazar Result, Rajdhani night result, Milan day, Kalyan panel, Jodi chart and others.

It is a known fact that Satta Matka is played in different states and UTs of the country without a valid permission and license by the government that makes it illegal. The Matka games are popular among people in West Bengal, Orissa, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and even the national capital New Delhi.

Despite the fact that these Satta Matka games are run openly on websites, there has been no action against them till now. The DpBoss comes into play at this time as besides providing fast results of different Matka games, the platform also provides guessing, tips and strategies to the players putting their hard earned money under a risk of loss.

Going back to the origin of Satta Matka in the country, the game emerged in different parts of the country after 1965 when people use to meet and socialize on roadsides as there were no mobile phones and internet which keeps today’s generation busy and glued to it. Those people having physical contacts started to play Satta by putting some amount of money which later became a rage and turned into an unorganized sector with major cash flow.

Later, by 2016 the roadside game was taken over by online websites which provided an easy access of the Satta Matka games to the players. The DpBoss was an extension that helped to bring together the results of different games at a single platform including a website and also the app.

There are many strategies and tips that are provided on the DpBoss platform but it is important to understand that neither of these guesses work in the game of Matka as it is completely based on luck and nothing more.

Kalyan Chart is consulted by many players who are into Satta Matka but do you really think that this is helpful in winning the game?

Many believe that Kalyan Panel Chart is a very important tool in the world of Matka due to which it has become popular among those who often put their money into the dangerous game of Satta.

The chart has a grid of number and corresponding results, letting the players to analyze the patterns and make prediction to win in the Satta Matka games. While it has no scientific reasoning behind it, but there is a sense of adoption of the Kalyan Chart among the players to use it and then bet on a given number.

Those who use the chart claim that it has historical data and statistical analysis behind it that help the players in making predictions. Many other similar charts like Milan Day Panel Chart and Kalyan Jodi Chart are also available in to form a strategy to win the Matka.

Also Read: Satta King result today declared: Matka tips fail again

Many players find it difficult and ask the question as to how to read Kalyan Chart? The chart is generally divided into multiple sections including an open and close result that indicate a set of three numbers. When these three numbers are added in the Panel Chart, it forms a single digit number between 0 -9. The figures are used to assess the final Jodi result. Multiple online platforms offer these daily charts and claim that these offer tips and prediction or lucky number to win the Matka.

To make it simple, the panel chart has a section called Open with three separate numbers, Jodi with set of double digit numbers, Panna with a set of triple digit numbers and Single Jodi in which there are two triple digit numbers and one double digit number. The Kalyan Chart also has Milan Day free game, Rajdhani Day free game, Milan Night free game, Rajdhani Night free game and Main Bazar free game.

The Kalyan Chart has many limitations that are important to be considered before playing any Matka game. On one hand where it does not account for external factors that can influence the outcomes, such as changes in regulations, market conditions, or insider information. Additionally, on the other hand the panel does not incorporate individual player strategies or factors like luck and intuition.

Also Read: Kolkata FF result today; Satta that has a risk of financial instability

It is important to understand that risking the hard earned money for Kalyan Chart or any other Matka game is highly not recommended. It is wastage of money besides putting oneself in a situation where he reaches a point of no return. The Kalyan Matka also leads to financial distress among many families across the country for which it should be avoided.

In the wake of recent deadly cloudbursts in Jammu region, the district administration of Doda has imposed strict restrictions on this year’s Kailash Yatra, set to begin tomorrow. The pilgrimage will now be conducted in a symbolic and scaled-down manner, with women and children barred from participating due to safety concerns.
The annual three-day pilgrimage, held in the Bhaderwah sub-division of Doda, involves a challenging 21-km trek. This year, only a limited number of designated pilgrims will be allowed to accompany the Chhari Mubarak (holy mace) along the traditional route via Sungli, Nalthi, and Drafda (Bhalla). The alternative Chattergala route has been closed, deemed unsafe due to heavy water streams and unstable terrain.
Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, announced the measures after three rounds of consultations with stakeholders. “The safety and security of devotees will be our top priority,” he said, urging strict adherence to official advisories.
The decision follows recent tragedies in the region:
On August 14, a cloudburst in Kishtwar left 67 Machail Mata pilgrims dead and 88 missing.
Another incident in Kathua on Sunday claimed seven lives, including five children.
To ensure the safety of pilgrims, the administration has planned a comprehensive deployment strategy. Medical teams, disaster response units, water and shelter facilities, and security personnel will be stationed at all key points along the route. Each pilgrim must carry a valid ID issued by the district administration.
DC Singh emphasized that while this year’s yatra will be symbolic, all traditional rituals will be upheld. He assured devotees of the administration’s full commitment to ensuring a safe, smooth, and spiritually enriching pilgrimage experience.

The post Women, children banned from participating in Kailash yatra first appeared on JK Newsline.

Kashmir leaders have slammed the J&K government for banning 25 books on terrorism.

Criticising the ban, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti said “banning books cannot erase history”

She wrote on X; “Democracy thrives on the free exchange of ideas. Banning books cannot erase history , it only fuels division. In Kashmir, suppressing democratic voices and fundamental freedoms deepens alienation and mistrust”.

“Censorship doesn’t silence ideas it amplifies their resonance”, she added.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq also raised his voice against the book ban. He wrote on X; “Banning books by scholars and reputed historians will not erase historical facts and the repertoire of lived memories of people of Kashmir”.

“It only exposes the insecurities and limited understanding of those behind such authoritarian actions, and the contradiction in proudly hosting the ongoing Book Festival to showcase its literary commitment!”, he added.

The J&K administration yesterday ordered forfeiture of the 25 titles, alleging that the books promote “false narratives,” glorify terrorism, and incite secessionism in the Union Territory.

The post Kashmir leaders slam J&K Govt for banning 25 books first appeared on JK Newsline.

General Upendra Dwivedi paid heartfelt tribute to the fallen soldiers of the Kargil War, lauding their unwavering courage and sacrifice. He reflected on the Indian Army’s historic victory in 1999 and its resolute defence of national sovereignty during recent Operation Sindoor.

Emphasising that India seeks peace but will respond decisively to provocation, he highlighted the Army’s successful, precise operations against terror infrastructure without civilian harm.

The COAS outlined the Army’s transformation into a future-ready force through ‘Rudra’ all arms brigades, ‘Bhairav’ light commando battalions, ‘Shaktibaan’ artillery regiments and ‘Divyastra’ batteries, drone-equipped infantry battalions, and indigenous air defence systems.

He also praised the Army’s role in national building, especially in border infrastructure, tourism, economy and veteran welfare affirming the soldier’s enduring role in building Viksit Bharat by 2047.

Calling upon youth to serve the nation with honesty and dedication, he closed with a resolute commitment to safeguarding India’s unity, sovereignty, and honour.

The main event commenced with the Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Kargil War Memorial. Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of Labour & Employment and Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports; Sanjay Seth, Minister of State for Defence; Kavinder Gupta, Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh; and General Upendra Dwivedi, COAS, led the nation in paying homage to the martyrs. They were joined by senior military officials, gallantry awardees, Veer Naris, and families of the fallen. The haunting notes of the “Last Post” reverberated through the valley, evoking powerful emotions and remembrance.

Earlier in the morning, the rugged high altitude town of Dras, forever etched in India’s memory for the valorous battles of 1999, came alive as Union Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya and MoS Defence Sanjay Seth led a solemn ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas Padyatra’, retracing the steps of history with a thousand-strong crowd of youth, soldiers, and citizens.

Organised by Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the padyatra was a stirring tribute to India’s victory in the Kargil War and the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The post Kargil Vijay Diwas: Legacy of Kargil continues, Army crushes Pakistan’s designs in ‘Operation Sindoor’ first appeared on JK Newsline.

In the face of catastrophic monsoon devastation in Himachal Pradesh, the Indian Army has emerged as a critical lifeline for the flood-battered Mandi district, where multiple cloudbursts have flattened villages, swept away infrastructure, and left dozens dead or missing.

With roads destroyed and communication lines snapped, Army relief columns have been relying on satellite phones to stay connected with base camps as they push into the worst-affected areas. Thunag village, one of the hardest-hit locations, is now receiving aid after days of isolation.

“Satellite communication systems including ISAT phones, RS STARSV, and HX terminals have been deployed to ensure uninterrupted connectivity for rescue and relief teams,” a Defence spokesperson said. “Mobile networks are functional only in patches, with Thunag still facing major blackouts.”

Since early July, relentless rain and flash floods have claimed at least 85 lives across Himachal Pradesh, with over 35 people still missing. The deluge has left behind a trail of destruction—boulders, uprooted trees, and debris litter once-thriving villages, now barely recognizable.

Indian Army personnel, in close coordination with the SDRF, NDRF, and local authorities, are leading Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) efforts. Relief columns have been deployed across strategic locations including Thunag, Bagsiad, and Pandoh. On July 6, they successfully cleared a critical mule track between Bagsiad and Thunag, paving the way for the delivery of urgently needed supplies.

On the ground, Army medics are providing first aid and distributing ration kits to displaced families. Relief material has already reached remote villages such as Degi (July 7), Rushad (July 8), and Chapad (July 9), many of which had been completely cut off since the floods began.

The Brigade Commander of the Indian Army is currently in Mandi to review operations and boost morale among the ground teams.

“The Indian Army remains steadfast in its commitment to the people of Himachal Pradesh,” the spokesperson added. “Our teams will continue to support the civil administration for as long as necessary during this crisis.”

As heavy rains continue to lash the region, the Army’s mission is far from over—but for the people of Mandi, their presence is already making the difference between despair and hope.

The post Army using satellite phones to coordinate relief in devastated Himachal Pradesh villages first appeared on JK Newsline.

SAMEER SINGH SAPEHIA

Astrology reveals the will of gods these words perfectly resonates with turn of events that took place in the life of 33-years-old Puneet Gupta. Gupta, a resident of Nai Basti area in Bathinda who graduated (B Tech in Electronics) from Punjab Engineering College (PEC) Chandigarh in 2011 made a fortune for himself. After working in an investment bank in Mumbai for few years, he later launched his own start-up called AstroTalk in 2017, today this venture’s annual recurring revenue (ARR) is INR 1400 crores (monthly average approx Rs 125 crores). His father Vijay Kumar runs a shop of handloom items in Bathinda where his elder brother assist him in work. Puneet had never believed in astrology until a female collegaue in the bank who practised astrology once foretold something regarding his professional life which came about true. This is an online application-based venture where astrologers from across the country and even from overseas locations have got themselves registered who provide their servcies (paid) online to people. Today, it is one of the fastest growing start-up in the country. His mother Prabha Rani is a retired banker.

Puneet who is the founder of AstroTalk said, “Before starting this venture, I had already built some apps. I never believed in it and had always considered astrology nothing but wastage of time. I even laughed at people especially educated one’s talking about astrology that too in the 21st century. But fine day, my colleague’s predictions about my career and that of the company we worked came about true in two years time precisely what she had foretold me. Then i sensed an opportunity thinking that there is no such online app-based astrology platform available on web and it has potential to grow. Today, we have more than 3 crores people in the country and abroad who had availed astrology servcies on our platform. It being the new idea clicked well among masses as people especially when not sitting physically in front of an astrologer, found it extermely convenient to open a lot about their lives. People have insecurities but they have the luxury of not being judged online. We provide first session to people visiting on our app free of cost. Around 15 percent of our total revenue comes from overaseas lcoations and at the same time ancient Indian practice is growing popular day-by-day.”

Gupta who studied from Saint Xavier School in Bathinda said, “Like most us, I also had my fair share of ups and downs in life before making it big. In the hope that i would start my own venture, I quit the job and came back to Bathinda. But after unsuccessfully trying my hand at different ventures, I had even exahausted whatever meagre savings i had. I again returned to Mumbai and did not have money to take rented accomodation and used to sleep on floor for some days. I remained without work for quite some time and after failing at number of attempts to start my venture even went into deep depression; shut myself inside room for days. But all this while that inclination to learn new things and honing my skills did not die. “

The post AstroTalk Success Story: How Puneet Gupta turned astrology into a Rs 1400 Cr startup first appeared on JK Newsline.

Will there be a war between India and Pakistan over the Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 people were killed is the question lakhs of Indians are asking on a daily basis with the belief that it will be the end to the terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.

On April 22 when 26 people including 25 tourists and one local were killed by Pakistani terrorists, the hostilities between the two nuclear nations increased manifold. War-like posturing by both the countries at borders, on land and in sea has been seen increasing since the terror attack in which a group of terrorists killed people after asking their religious identities.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi cut short his Saudi Arabia visit and came back to India and held a series of meetings to discuss the strategy for retaliation. The situation seems that something will happen as many BJP leaders have expressed confidence in the central government saying that the killings will be avenged.

The feeling of revenge for the killings in Pahalgam is also running deep inside every patriotic Indian who feels that it is the time that Pakistan must be taught a lesson so that such ghastly incidents do not take place in future.

While there are no details about the details of the Armed forces in India, multiple videos and photos of tanks and other armoured vehicles being deployed near borders by Pakistan are viral on social media. While Pakistan is preparing to defend its boundaries in case of a war, India is deciding on the answer to the terror attack in Pahalgam.

While it depends on the armed forces as to what will be the answer to Pakistan, citizens are asking if there will be a war between India and Pakistan. While it is a fact that war has never brought prosperity, it is also a fact that retaliation is necessary when a country like Pakistan hosts terrorists against India. These terrorists are trained on Pakistani soil in PoK and sent to India to massacre civilians and attack security forces.

The post Pahalgam Updates: Can a war between India and Pakistan end terrorism in Kashmir? first appeared on JK Newsline.

New Delhi : The Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, reviewed Jammu and Kashmir’s security today, in the wake of a spate of terrorist activities recently. The security review meeting convened top officials of the Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and paramilitary forces to assess the current security scenario and ongoing anti-terror operations in the union territory.

This review follows Monday’s terror attack in the Kulgam district, where an ex-serviceman, Manzoor Ahmad Wagay, lost his life and his wife and niece were injured. This was a follow-up of the security review Shah had given on December 19, 2024, when he had directed security agencies to keep the efforts to curb terrorism in the region well coordinated.

Although the government has reported a significant decline in terrorist incidents, infiltration, and recruitment of youth into terrorist organizations, security forces have increased their operations. Last week, they launched a major operation focusing on higher reaches and forest areas along the Line of Control, aimed at neutralizing terrorists responsible for multiple attacks across different districts last year.

To date, the security situation has particularly caught much attention in areas comprising Reasi, Doda, Kishtwar, Kathua, Jammu, and Rajouri districts of the state, where terrorist activity has been increased over the last two years.

The post Amit Shah reviews J&K security after terror incidents first appeared on JK Newsline.

Jammu :National Conference president Farooq Abdullah raised objections to the centre’s claims of the killing of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, exposing himself to contradict those made by the central government on Monday when an ex-serviceman was killed and two women were wounded-Abdullah’s wife being among them-by terrorists in a well-planned attack on Armageddon Street in Kulgam.

On the Delhi elections, Abdullah dismissed claims of premature victory by the BJP, saying that the final decision lies with the people of the country and not with the political leaders. When asked about the possibility of INDIA bloc partners Congress and AAP contesting separately in Delhi, Abdullah was modest in his response, saying he could not predict such outcomes as he was “a simple man.”

Abdullah was optimistic about the future of the INDIA bloc but downplayed his personal role in uniting alliance partners at the national level. On the question of statehood for Jammu and Kashmir, he remained hopeful about its eventual restoration but did not know how long it would take.

The veteran politician also responded to the Electronic Voting Machines issue raised by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, but steered the conversation back to media freedom, questioning journalists’ ability to criticize the central government without facing consequences. On healthcare matters, Abdullah expressed skepticism about the COVID-19 vaccine rollout, citing concerns about its rapid deployment and potential health impacts, while advocating for careful research in the development of any future cancer vaccine.

The post Farooq Abdullah questions terror-free claims in J&K, discusses Delhi elections and EVM concerns first appeared on JK Newsline.

Jammu :- In a shocking incident of gang violence that unfolded Tuesday at Jammu’s bustling Jewel Chowk, a 37-year-old man was fatally shot in what police describe as an inter-gang conflict. Sumit Jandyal, a resident of Vijaypur’s ward number 9, was targeted by rival gang members who opened fire on his red Thar vehicle before fleeing the scene.

ADGP Jammu Zone Anand Jain, who visited the crime scene along with DIG Shiv Kumar Sharma and other senior police officials, confirmed that the shooting was linked to rivalry between the Gataru Gang of Vijaypur-Samba and their opponents. The top cop explicitly ruled out any terror-related angles in the case.

Despite being rushed to GMC Jammu Hospital, Jandyal was pronounced dead on arrival. The brazen attack occurred in broad daylight at one of Jammu’s most frequented intersections, sending shockwaves through the local community. Police have seized the victim’s vehicle, bearing registration number JK21-G-0770, and launched an extensive manhunt across Jammu and Samba districts to apprehend the perpetrators.

Law enforcement has moved swiftly to address the situation, registering an FIR at the local police station and forming a Special Investigation Team to probe the murder. The incident has raised concerns about gang-related violence in the region and the authorities’ ability to maintain public safety in high-traffic areas.
