CBSE Class 12 students not happy with evaluation criteria can write exam in August

Students who are not content with the evaluation criteria in class 12th results can write their exams in August this year.

This has come as a relief for class 12 students who were disappointed with the evaluation criteria of the CBSE can now sit for examination in August, said Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal.

Arrangements are being made by the CBSE for such students who want to give Class 12 exams for an offline examination. It was on June 25 when Ramesh Pokhriyal had interacted with the students who wanted to write their exams as they are not satisfied with the evaluation criteria.

CBSE had on June 21 filed an affidavit before the Supreme Court (SC) stating that the 12th Board exams result will be declared by July 31.

The government had cancelled class 12th Board examination this year due to the continuing cases of Covid in the country. There was an uproar by class 12th students earlier to cancel the examination after which CBSE had come up with a detailed evaluation criteria for such students.
