Dating app ‘Raya’ is slowly making its way to India now and is getting quiet popular here. It is a celebrity dating app which has a waiting list. Raya app requires its potential users to fill the application and then they are assessed.

The Indian Express reported that Lisa Mishra, Janhvi Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor, and Neha Sharma have been attracted by this app.

Raya offers exclusivity and privacy to its elite clientele and all candidates must follow a strict code of conduct and adhere to the app’s terms and conditions. Launched in 2015 by Daniel Gendelman, the by-invite-only app isn’t advertised, but grows through word of mouth.

There is no breach of policy on this app as it has a strict code of conduct and members are not supposed to expose names of other celebs or take screenshots of their profiles or else they can be removed from the app. There is also a unique option of hide for its users that will prevent others to see their profiles if they are uncomfortable for any reason. “Doing so will preserve conversations you’ve had with other members but will prevent any new members from seeing your profile,” as mentioned on its website.

Reportedly, only 8 percent applications are accepted on Raya.

Hollywood sensations like Ben Affleck, Channing Tatum, Demi Lovato, John Mayer, Channing Tatum, Cara Delevingne, and Lizzo are reportedly amongst the international celebrities on this dating app.
