Check the details for Jammu and Kashmir budget presented in Lok Sabha

The budget for the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir for the year 2022-23 has been unveiled by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday.

FM presented Rs 112950 crore crore budget for J&K in the Lok Sabha, amid demands from the opposition that it be given adequate time for studying the proposals.

As per details, 112950 crore budget estimates, Rs 71615 crore is revenue expenditure and Rs 41335 crore is capital expenditure.

This was the third budget of J&K presented in the parliament after August 5, 2019 when Centre read down Article 370 and reorganized the erstwhile state of J&K into two UTs.

As per reports, the second half of the Budget session will conclude on April 8. The first half of the Budget session began on January 31 and concluded on February 11.
