Chhari-Mubarak to be carried to Srinagar’s Shankracharaya Temple tomorrow for traditional rituals

The holy Chhari-Mubarak (holy mace of Swami Amarnath ji) will be taken to Srinagar’s Shankracharaya Temple tomorrow (Thursday) for its traditional Pujan.

According to the custodian of the holy mace, Mahant Deependra Giri, the Pujan will be held between 8 am to 9 am.

Thereafter, the Chhari-Mubarak will be taken to the Shri Sharika Bhawani Ji Temple, Hari Parvat on Friday the 25 July, he said.

After various traditional rituals, the Chhari-Mubarak will be carried to the cave shrine of Amarnath next month before the pilgrimage concludes.
