Even as the Union Territory administration has shut all schools in Jammu and Kashmir, confusion prevailed among teachers whether they have to attend the institutions or not.
A large number of government school teachers tried to inquire about their status, however no clear answer was received by them as there was no mention of teachers in the government order.
It is expected that the J&K government will clarify the status of teachers amid closure of schools for time being.
Update: Teachers will have to attend schools even during the period when these institutions are closed
