Jammu and Kashmir is a complex Union Territory where daily wagers of different departments agitate for their pending wages while lakhs are being spent on renovation of bungalows of bureaucrats.
It has been reported that lakhs of Rupees are being spent on the renovation of houses of some bureaucrats not on basic amenities but luxuries.
The money being spent on the houses of these bureaucrats is being spent from government’s exchequer that highlights the stark reality where one section of government workers allege irregular wages and the other spends lakhs on renovation of bungalows.
Reports suggest that the bureaucrats allegedly mounted pressure on different departments to renovate their houses since last six months.
