DSP Davinder Singh who is accused of ferrying terrorists dismissed by J&K Govt

Suspended Jammu and Kashmir DSP Davinder Singh, arrested while ferrying two Hizb-ul-Mujahideen terrorists in a vehicle on the Srinagar-Jammu Highway earlier this year has been dismissed from services by J&K government.

“Whereas, the Lieutenant Governor is satisfied after considering the facts and circumstances of the case and on the basis of information available that the activities of Mr. Davinder Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Under Suspension) S/o Mr. Deedar Singh R/o Overigund Tral, Pulwama are such as to warrant his dismissal from service” an official order stated.

“AND WHEREAS, the Lieutenant Governor is satisfied under sub-clause (c) of the proviso to dause (2) of Article 311 of the Constitution of India that in the interest of the security of the State, it is not expedient to hold an enquiry in the case of Mr. Davinder Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Under Suspension) S/o Mr. Deedar Singh R/o Overigund Tral, Pulwama. Accordingly, the Lieutenant Governor hereby dismisses Mr. Davinder Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Under Suspension) S/o Mr. Deedar Singh R/o Overigund Tral, Pulwama from service, with immediate effect” the dismissal order read.
