The Home Ministry today appointed Atal Dulloo, secretary border management, as the new chief secretary of J&K in place of Arun Mehta who will retire this month.
Dulloo, a 1988 batch IAS, is currently working as secretary border management in the Home Ministry. He has been repatriated prematurely from central deputation to take charge of the post of chief secretary.
