Ramban : A fatal road accident in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district killed a 33-year-old woman and injured twelve others on Monday morning. The accident took place when a Tata Sumo vehicle (JK19A-1331) turned over at Galli Upper Neera area at about 10:15 am while on its way from Chabba to Ramban.
The victim who was identified as Sankesha Devi, wife of Raghbeer Singh of Chabba, has been declared brought dead. Police and volunteers rushed to the spot and shifted the injured passengers to District Hospital Ramban.
The victims are the driver of the vehicle Surjeet Singh (28), as well as Patial Singh (45), Chain Singh (49), Santok Singh (29), Amar Jyoti (24), Seema Devi (40), Raghuveer Singh (36), Raj Gopal Singh (24), Kehar Singh (36), Rangeel Singh (28), Vidya Devi (50), and Manika Devi, two years old.
Police authorities have confirmed that a case has been registered and investigations are on to find out the reason for the accident.
