Female students of Jammu University shifted to safer locations

The University of Jammu has shifted all female students residing in hotel to safer locations after boundary wall of the hostel collapsed due to heavy rain.

All HODs have been requested to advise the girl students of their respective departments, availing girls hostel facility that they may shift to the alternate staying arrangements temporarily being made by the University in view of their safety concerns.

“The head of departments may make arrangements in their respective departments for all those girl students who are not interested in shifting to the alternate temporary accommodation” an official said.
