Jammu and Kashmir Delimitation commission may submit its final report in end of the month of April. As per reports, once the report is submitted by the delimitation commission, centre will take a final call on polls in J&K after reviewing all aspects, including security situation.
A senior government official informed that report will be submitted to Ministry of Law and Justice as they had notified the Commission and then a summary revision of Electoral Rolls will be taken up by the Election Commission.
The draft roll will be published after which door to door verification of the electoral roll will be done. This will be discussed by centre during an all party meeting, reportedly.
