A massive fire broke out in Last Morh area of Jammu in which spare parts worth lakhs were destroyed.
The fire erupted late on Friday evening after which fire bridages reached the spot and started dousing th blaze. The affected shop has been identified as Everest Traders.
Fire that spread to adjoining shops also caused some damage to a plyboard store.
Virender Magotra, properiotor of Everest Traders said that the flames consumed the store housing generator componrnts. He also stated that important documents, including bill books, purchase records, and GST returns spanning the last decade, were destroyed.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined.
