Hours after a junior commissioned officer of the Army, Subedar Kuldeep Chand, laid his life in a firefight with infiltrating terrorists in Akhnoor, GOC White Knight Corps, Lt. General PK Mishra on Saturday visited the forward positions along the LoC to take stock of the security situation.
The White Knight Corps wrote on X; “accompanied by GOC Ace of Spades Division, the GOC White Knight Corps visited Krishna Ghati, Bhimber Gali & Naushera Sectors to review the security situation and assess operational preparedness.
He lauded the troops for their steadfast professionalism and urged all ranks to uphold the highest standards of readiness and morale in the face of evolving security challenges.
The GOC’s visit to the forward locations has come amidst the increasing ceasefire violations by Pakistan army and infiltration bids of terrorists.
