Govt Middle School Panditgam Kishtwar renamed after Martyr

To honour the sacrifice made by the valiant soldiers while protecting the country, District Administration Kishtwar today renamed Government Middle School Panditgam as “Shaheed Ram Charan Memorial Govt Middle School Panditgam” here at a simple ceremony.

The school has been renamed after the Martyr Ram Charan of village Panditgam who laid his life in the line of duty while serving in JKP.

Deputy Commissioner, Dr Devansh Yadav  was the Chief Guest on the occasion and ACP, Zakir Hussain Wani, Chief Education Officer, Sudershan Kumar Sharma; ZEO, Ranbir Singh were guests of honour.

The dignitaries paid rich Tributes to the Martyr  in presence of his mother, family members, PRIs, prominent persons, besides staff and students of the school .

Speaking on the occasion, the  DC remembered the sacrifice made by   Ram Charan, while protecting the unity and integrity of the nation.

While highlighting the significance of renaming the school after the Martyr, the DC said that it is a proud moment for us and hoped that students will now be motivated to serve the nation.

The CEO, in his address, said that though the vacuum created in the family by the loss of the martyr can never be filled, renaming the school after him will be a great tribute to the Martyr.
