Srinagar : Authorities made an announcement on Monday that Gondola operations from Kongdoori to Affarwat have been suspended temporarily because of unfavorable weather conditions.
The move was made with priority for tourists’ safety and well-being, as per an official release.The authorities have promised visitors that all those who had bought tickets would be given full refunds as per protocols. The Gulmarg Gondola, one of the world’s highest cable car operations and a top destination for adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts visiting the region, is impacted by the temporary shutdown.
The Gulmarg Gondola, which is known for offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, normally attracts thousands of tourists who seek both exciting activities and the beauty of nature around.
