Haryana shuts many universities as Covid-19 cases surge

Many universities were shut on Monday amid surge in Covid-19 cases in Haryana.

Notice by a university in Haryana states that in view of sudden arise of COVID infection cases it has been decided to suspend on-campus teaching-learning for a period of 9 working days w.e.f. April 6 to April 18.

The on-campus learning process only for final year students will resume from April 19 or till further notification whichever is later, the notice said.

The universities that have been shut stated that during the period of closure, the teaching-learning process for all the students will continue on online mode.

All the concerned faculty members of these universities have been to discharge their teaching responsibilities while working from home.

The non-teaching staff will, however, attend their respective offices as usual. The examination schedule of online and offline mode shall remain unchanged.
