House of alleged drug peddler demolished in Samba
In a significant action against the narcotics network and illegal encroachments, Samba Police in close coordination with the District Civil Administration, today carried out a demolition drive at Bela Manohar, Chak Manga tehsil & district Samba.
During the operation, a single-storey residential house belonging to a notorious drug peddler namely Raj Mahammad S/o Saif Ali R/o Bela Manohar, Chak Manga tehsil & district Samba constructed over 10 Marlas State land valuing approximately Rs. 65.00 Lacs was demolished in accordance with law, Police said today.
It is pertinent to mention here that the said accused is a notorious drug peddler and is involved in multiple cases registered under the NDPS Act at Police Station Bahu Fort and Police Station Bus Stand of district Jammu, Police said.
This decisive action demonstrates the Samba Police’s ongoing commitment to dismantle the drug trade by targeting illegal assets and deterring future offenders.
The operation is part of the ongoing “Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan”, which seeks to eradicate drug abuse and trafficking from society.
