The season’s first sortie of IAF to airlift the people of snowbound Kargil stranded at Chandigarh and Srinagar will operate on Saturday, officials said on Friday.
The official announcement said “Subject to fair weather, the 1st sortie of the season of AN-32 Kargil Courier Service, will operate on 7th February, as per the following schedule”.
“Tentative departure from Chandigarh at 0800hrs”.
