Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, Mohita Sharma on Wednesday took over as the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ramban.
Mohita Sharma has replaced PD Nitya (IPS) who has been transferred to Ladakh.
After handing over the charge of the district to Mohita Sharma, the outgoing SSP PD Nitya thanked Ramban Police for their support and display of great professional integrity during tough times. She also thanked the people of Ramban for their cooperation during his service tenure.
Meanwhile, the new SSP held a meeting with the senior officers of the district and reviewed the functioning of the department.
