Is AAP expecting several senior leaders to join their party in J&K?

In a major development for Aam Aadmi Party in Jammu and Kashmir, various MLA’s of other parties in Jammu and Kashmir are in talks with Aam Aadmi Party.

Though the name of leaders have not been taken out yet but Punjab Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains, who is also AAP’s election in-charge for Jammu, said that many former MLAs of different parties, including the BJP and the Congress, were in talks with his party after its historic victory in Punjab.

Bains told The Tribune that many leaders of other parties have shown interest in AAP and many have recently joined as well. He further said that their party is in talks with many of the leaders and many senior leaders will join AAP soon.

It is pertinent to mention that Bains was on a two-day tour to Jammu where he met many senior leaders of the party including Harsh Dev Singh, Balwant Singh Mankotia and Yashpal Kundal.

Bains also informed that AAP’s organisational structure in Jammu would be revamped soon with new district-level committees. Earlier, while addressing a convention, Harjot Bains said that people’s hope from BJP government in states like Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat has lost. Further he said that people have seen a ray of hope in Delhi government as Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has made many changes in various sectors for the good.
